My new set up (looking for advise to)
Alright as most of you know, I am having to build a new motor out of necessity not desire... So pricing is a concern and unlimited upgrades are not at my disposal, but here is what I am doing so far. I am looking for comments about things I am missing or other things I should consider.
Built short block by True Blue Performance
CP Custom Pistons
Manley Rods
APR head bolts
Crower stage 2 cams
ported stock heads
new valve job with brass valve guides
LFP 6# interchangeable lower pulley kit
Power Plenum from LFP
C&L inlet pipe
LFP single blade throttle body
Anyone have any idea what duration and lift I should be running for an everyday driver that remains streetable.
Also like I said, any other things I need to be concerned about, like fuel issues or MAF issues. This will be my first engine build and I want to make sure I have every issue covered when I start.
