Thanks, Hurricane Frances

The roof of the shop came down and along with flooding turned thousands of dollars of parts into rubbish. Im gonna try to save as much as I can, but everything, in my motor , cranks, rods, cams, valve seats etc were affected.

I may have to start over, but as long as I have my health and no insurance, anything is possible.

No insurance. Landlord will not cover either. Luckily my truck was in another warehouse that was not affected.

See if you can get federal aid. Bush is proposing billions in aid and better you get than some of the other folks. Bush is supposed to be a friend to small business owners, right?

From: Colorado,
I know it looks bad but a lot of that is just surface rust.
If it hasn't pitted deep, seems like you could polish it off without loosing tolerance and still save many parts.

I know it is a lot of work and a big dissapointment but with no insurance what else can a fella do. Might be worth a try.

Best of luck. Hope it works out.

The green scotch brite is great for removing rust.
Use it with WD 40, and you can make rusted parts look new.
