Thanks for having me I'm working on my 10sec slip, speaking of sliping, whats the best SC belt? 3.2 on top of the KB and 10lb lower, w/metco pushing it from the side and still slipping like crazy!

Yep, got it from JLP, but have the biggest up top 3.2. I may need your help to get to the 10's, I have this race coming up.

I need to beat down this supercharged LS1, right now he just a bit quicker. I have the weight of the tidewater L's on my back, I have to do this for our honner LOL

I've had absolutely NO SLIPPING PROBS with the Gatorback Belts.
Then again I don't have a 10lb Lower (HOLY IT LOOKS LIKE A STEERING WHEEL BATMAN) or the Boost you have

(But I do use a 2.80 upper along with a 4lb lower w/no slipping)
So I got to assume the Gatorback will grip extremly well on a 3.2 Upper. Sorry I have a chart on Belt size with some combo's,
but not yours. We do have a Brother that ran a 10lb Lower with a Magnum Powers S/C, maybe he'll chime in and know ???

Beautiful Truck Bro, go get them 10's

only making 17-17.5 I see it start up then fall, I think its the slipping because of all the dust in just one day

get back to nloc....

just kidding.

welcome mike.

I assume that the top pulley is slipping? is your tensioner weak? with that large lower and the large upper I wouldn't think you should be seeing belt slippage.

also, have you considered the "Ultra Grip" toothed or serrated Reichard Racing style pullies for the KB?

http://www.reichardracing.com/ultra_grip_pulley.php

just a thought.

good luck.

maybe I'll see you at the dyno on Saturday... still trying to iron out the details.

later,
chris

wait till it cools down some more
With some better air I see 10's in your future.

I am trying to remember what you have for slicks?? If you can get your 60 foots down to around a 1.55 or so, that will get you into the 10's. If your still running 28" tall slicks that might be holding you back. Allmost all of the 10 second trucks are running 30" tall tires. The extra sidewall really helps in 60 foot times.

I hear those new M/H slicks work awesome.
