Question Whistle sound from engine bay...

So lately I have been getting this whistle sound coming from the engine bay. I have no clue what it could be but it continues all day even when the engine is hot.

It actually sounds like some one is whistling...

Any ideas what it could be?

Are you running a SB throttle body? Some have had a whistle from it and have adjusted the blade to fix it....

I have a stock throttle body even though for some reason I thought that might be the cause...
Cannot think of anything else...

It is not the super charger...that is a whine...

My 01 had a whistle at one time. I have a S B throttle body. After a short time the whistle went away by it self ??

I had a car that made a sound like that, most noticable when the car had just been shut off & was hot.

The coolant is under pressure for a long time, (until it cools down).

I finally traced the sound to a crack in one of the radiator side tanks - they are plastic on most vehicles.

just a thought..

If you have taken off your IAC recently then loosen and re-tighten...or you may do it anyhow if it became loose somehow on its own....

Mine wasnt quite on right after cleaning and would whistle/hum unless I got the idle up enough to bypass it....drove me nuts for a day....but was easy to fix.
