lakewood question

lakewood question

to anybody running the lakewood traction bars, can they be see from the side of your truck? i just ordered a set, but i want my truck to look stock, i know a lot of traction bars stick down/forward far enough to be seen, is this the case w/ lakewoods?.......by the way stock height '02

They can be seen, but only barely. I am very pleased with mine.

Since they are black, they don't show up too much, except if you are looking carefully. If you want, you can replace the yellow snubbers with black ones from Autozone, etc. FYI, the snubbers can barely be seen, but only from the right angle looking through the wheel opening.

Agreed, Paint them black if they aren't already and change the snubber, Unless you get down and look under there, you won't see them.

If you are driving behind, and you know what to look for you'll definitely see them.
