JLP Valve Body
Just got it in the truck and tried it out.
It will slip the Nittos in 2nd and if you are in it hard it will slip 3rd a little. It shifts like a normal trans at normal in town take off. You get in it and let it go up to about 3000 to 3500 it will hit good an hard. Get it up to 4000 or more and it will strat to slip the tires.

I installed mine about 3 weeks ago and still get a giggle every time I hit it hard. Had my best 60ft to date with it too (1.88)
Just today I was trying to blend with traffic and I thought I let out of it soon enough, but ended up scaring some ricer's girlfriend with the bark!LOL
Did you install the valve with it too??

Eventualy as it is with death and coming face-to-face with god, you shall one day, sooner or later be in the presence of the great Gregg Evans, for a Monster Box to replace your failed transmission. You should have got the Factory Tech Valve body instead.

GREGG IS GOOD BUT I HAVE USRD JOHNNY AS LONG AS I HAVE HAD THE TRUCK AND WILL CONTINUE.
IT IS CALLED BEING LOYAL TO YOUR TUNER.
BGLANDEN I JUST PUT THE VAVLE BODY IN WITH A CHIP THAT I GOT FROM JOHNNY A WILL BACK. JOHNNY TOLD ME TO TRY IT THIS WAY FRIST. IF I DID NOT LIKE IT TO THEN GET THE LINE MOD. SO OR JOHNNY HAS JUST SOLD ME WHAT I NEEDED NOT WHAT WHOULD MAKE HIME THE MOST MONEY.

If I am not mistaken, Gregg gives a 2 year warranty on his Monster box, regardless of the HP you sock to it.
It is fine to be loyal to a tuner. I'm not sure how many "tuners" are transmission experts.
Johnny Winter is good, but IMHO on Ford automatics he isn't a Gregg Evans.
Buy one of Gregg's FTVB or the Monster Box and I'll bet you become "loyal" to him as your tranny man...
BTW, how do you go 4.5 in the 1/4 with only 1200 HP in a rail ??

I'm pretty confident that Johnny did NOT say that to you. If he did, you should search and find out exactly what a LINE MOD does. Make your Own decision.

Its not appropriate to state that Johnnys Valve Body will hurt the transmission, unless you have evidence that similar things have happened in the past. Ive not seen or heard of anything like that happpening and You didnt reference them here. In fact unless it happened to you its hearsay.
Greg doesnt even make the monster boxes anymore ... Seems strange that they still have the huge energetic following...

Hey man i run with a JLP valve body also and no problems yet. Don't quote me on this but I think that Johnny's VB's are actually made by Level 10 but again don't quote me. Anyway badass product so far with not one problem.

Not saying a line mod is the right thing to do(valve body is the way to go) I was just saying it didn't destroy my trans in 5000 miles......
I will let people continue to be negative......
