pulled my blower and uh oh!!

well i pulled my blower and sent it to apten.while i was pulling it i broke something. on the side of the upper theres like a little black canister about 2 inches tall with like to boost or vacuum lines attached to it. i broke one of the plastic connectors off and im not even sure what this piece is ??so how can i get a new one. it has a small black bracket attached to it and underneath the canister there like a silver piece of metal attached to it that you can push in and out. horrible description but i need a part number and price ifsomeone could help thanks alot i need to get this before my blower comes back. i have a pic but dont know how to post!

Sounds like you broke the boost actuator. Go get another one.

200 bucks for a new one !!!!!!!

Try and J B weld it back together.

J B weld, zip ties, and duct tape will fix most any automotive problem. Never leave home without them.

Whoa there killer! No need in spending money when you don't have to. I broke mine off also and I didn't have the $200 bones to replace it. So...I went to Lowes and got some brass vacuum line fittings (make sure to get the smallest ones possible or try to match up the hole on the brass fitting with the hole on the acutator as close as possible), pieces together a few pieces to make it work. Ream out the hole where the broken vacuum line once was on the actuator(be careful not to drill to deep or you will damage the seal inside the actuator). Then tap the hole for the size for the brass vacuum fitting, screw in the fitting and seal around it with some heavy duty, high temp cement glue/sealant. It looks a little ghetto but it works and cost me like 10 bucks. Nobody is going to be looking back there anyway. Hope this helps.

The only problem with the tool list is that you left out the the best one of all. Bailing wire.
