Question for Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri guys

I am in southern Ill and ther are very few L's around here But ther are a bunch in Kentucky. Where does Everyone go to get there trucks Dyno'ed OR better yet dynotuned. Who is able to tune a L in the mid west.

I have a 90 MM maf and maybe a 6 or 4 Pounder going on and would like a real tune instead of a mail order. I have a bunch of other stuff but I am waiting till the tune for the major stuff.

Or should I go with the goods and a new Mail order on my old superchip??

I am trying to keep this cheap since I blew my cash on a new stereo system. O and I am looking for a used 4, 5, 6 #'er

I'm in Lou, KY. and there are none that I know of around here.

A bunch in KY.....
In the past year I have seen so many lightnings here in Lou. many I see somewhat regularily...
Several Gen 1's and 2 reds (one with a topper), 2 blacks (one with a shaker hood), 2 true blues (one for sale), 1 white, 1 custome white and black, and for the first time ever I saw a silver one just last week.

good luck,
-Rich

Try Steigemeier's in St. Louis. Brian Herron is no longer there, but Bob should get you squared away with the run-of-the-mill mods. Or you can always go with an SCT or Predator and do email tunes based on dynosheets.

I also live in Louisville and there are two DynoJets that I know of. One is off Preston Highway in a guys backyard. He has a nice pantera in the garage. The second is in southern IN by IUS. Their shop is Clemons Racing. There are a ton of L's in Louisville due to two Ford plants, F250's and Explorers.

0lgiht1 what part of Louisville are you from?

They guy off Preston is always down. I went to him a year or so ago and every since then he has always told me he couldn't do it.
The last time it was because he was making it portable, that was several months ago.??

I WOULD NOT recommend this. They can load a standard SCT tune fine, but forget getting a custom tune. They don't have the experience to work through problems. They do not own a Lightning or any modular vehicle that I know of.

I've had the oportunity to watch Bob/Jim and Sal from PSP. There is just no comparision. I'd trust a mail order tune from Sal over anything Stiegemeier's will do.

I havent been to the valley this year but I use to go almost every Friday the past few years. Once the weather gets a little better I plan on going to the track. Do you make it there much if so do you remember a black L with the plate "TRYAGN".

I agree 100% with Mark, stay away from Stiegemeirs for a dyno tune. Bob doesn't even know what a SCT tuner is.

I was fortunate this weekend and got one of Sal's (PSP) dyno tunes in Kansas city. Sal can really work majic with a tune. Also, many of Sal's base tune were very close on the 1st dyno run.
