I have been reading over and over how changing the stock L exhaust out to a Magna Flow does not do much for power and mildly changes the sound. My question is, has anyone just left the stock muffler and changed the midpipes? if so what was the result in sound?

Since the price of the magnaflow muffler system is just about the same as the magnaflow high flow 2 cat mid pipes, why not just do the mid pipes?
