vibration in rear end of vehicle @ 70 up
I have a friend with a 2000 L. Above 70 mph you feel a vibration from rear of vehicle. It has new nitto's, went to the aluminium driveshaft. Still has the vibration. Any help would be appreciated.
The vehicle has about 15,000 miles on it. Thanks william

I bet it is in the exhaust
I would say loosen everything up, wiggle everything, star the truck. Let it heat up and re tighten the exhaust, but if it is a 2000 I bet you would have a hell of a time loosening it.

Stock exhaust?
Mine had a terrible vibration in the 70/80mph range. Put the Bassani cat back on--------Vibration gone!
If you feel the weight of the stock muffler, you can see how there "could be" problems

Mine had vibration at the same speed after I got my new tires on. Turned out the wheels weren't balanced correctly.

Found the cause of the vibration in the driveline above 70 mph.
Took the driveshaft to a shop to check the balance & sure enough it was out of balance. Balanced shaft now smooth as glass at all speeds. William
