Will she be able to properly install that Tag on her Tailgate? I heard her Tailgate got jammed up during a rear end collision…

Hope she has Allstate so she’s in good hands…

She doesn't need another tag on her tail.

Oh...and USPS would have been a better choice.

I didn't have a choice in shipping, besides I don't think the USPS would ship anything that heavy

Besides, I didn't want to risk the chance of bullet holes in my package

It's a toss up. Lately I've been getting a lot of pre-opened mail, damaged mail, and I'm still waiting for an expense reimbursement check, that was mailed 3 months ago, to show up. All of it USPS. They all have their share of sorry employees. You roll the dice and take your chances. Mostly, I don't have any trouble, regardless of who I use.

Bet it due to poor packaging, I work for UPS and 95% or damage claims are due to bad packing. Accidents to happen unfortunately.

What was the damage etc?

I remember someone sending a 21" PC monitor once in a box and packed with polystyrene chips, how it survived is beyond me.

I thought everyone knew that UPS drives over all packages with a forktruck before delivering. At least that's what the boxes we get at work look like. I guess I better keep my mouth shut. Somewhere in the UPS system I have a set of QA-1's! Should be here on Monday.

All I can say, with Rob02 knowing what Iam up too is this..........

It wasn't the packing, or boxing.
This must be the 5% nickyboy is talking about
It appears either "it"

got caught in a conveyor,
got run over by a truck,
was used in a lunchtime game

I can't understand how UPS has to ***** to deliver anything that damaged. Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice

Anyway UPS has accepted responsibility and is paying for a new set of...........whoops, almost said it

Sounds stupid doesnt it, i've often refused to take out boxes that have been damaged because to me it looks unprofessional.

Problem is that we have to get the customer to either refuse delivery of the item or to accept it and then file a damage claim. We get too many people kicking up a fuss if their parcel doesnt arrive, even if it is damaged. At least if they've seen it and accepted it/refused it they know the deal and what is happening.

Getting caught in a conveyor is quite possible, most common cause is either string/strapping that gets caught and pulls the package in to the workings, this is why we recommend customers dont use these for packing. Another point, Forklifts are very rarely used, its all automated package sorters nowadays.

15 million parcels delivered per day in North America, unfortunately the odd bad thing happens.

I apologise on behalf of UPS

Sorry, sounds like i'm going on a bit.

No need to apologize brother........
It's the story of my life.

No matter what line I get in, there's always a problem. Doesn't matter if its at a bank, grocery shopping, toll lane, sporting event.

It shouldn't be called Murphy's Law, but rather Gator's Law

Only bad thing, its going to be the 28th of the month before another set will be finished

Like I said before, UPS admitted it was the one that screwed up. So its all good..........I guess......hehe

Where I work we have a test to insure our packaging will stand up to UPS handling. It’s called the 6 foot drop test. Drop it from 6 feet on each corner and if the goods inside remain intact it is ready for UPS handling…
