Audio extension Part 1
Hello,
I've just built in a Kenwood DDX 7025, it was a little bit tricky, because I've to adjust the dash to fit.

Now I want to install an amp and a subwoofer behind the seats, can you give me photos how you solve this problem??
This would be nice.

My local shop will have it tuesday to install everythign and they might rework the box a little to get their logo in the middle.

How did you get that to fit, I had an older eclipse that was a DD size TV like that, that wouldnt fit. I was looking at that same unit but I didnt think it would fit either.
To fit, it looked like I had to cut out the support in the dash because the top back of the unit would not clear. Got any picture of how you did it? Also, where and how much ?
Sweet lookin by the way

Here is a pic of my sub. Its a Kicker solo baric L5 "square sub". Came in its own kicker enclosure that fits perefectly behind the seat of the L. (I did have to shave just a little off the top and botom of the sub box). I made my own brackets to secure it, and I covered it in carpet. Sub pounds harder and is cleaner then the 2 JL 12's that were in my ol caprice SS. Plus it leaves pleanty of room for my 2 alpine V12 amps, the stock CD changer and a capacitor. Goodluck!! ~John

Soryy, got no pics.
It is very difficult to explain the whole procedure for me in English, because I don't know, if I use the right words and terms.
First I deinstalled the stock radio, of course.
Then I removed the two ventilation controls so I can take away the black dash part where the radio fits in.
When you removed the radio, there is a metal clamp, which have to be removed. After this I take the frame of the Kenwood and mark with the pencil which parts I have to remove with the electrical saw. When the frame fits, I take the black console and mark and saw again.
Maybe you see it on the picture above. I'll enlarge the pic tomorrow and mark the parts I've sawed.
So, I've tried it, when you've got other questions, tell me.
