I am new to the site and all of the previous posts that you guys have laid down have been very helpful in planning my first few mods. I ran a search for production numbers, but wasn't able to find much. Could somebody let me know if finding my P# is as simple as walking into a dealership and checking OASIS? Thanks guys!

 

If you bought it new you will get a certificate in the mail in a few months. It will have your build number.

have VIN handy. Ask about getting a copy of the certificate, they should ask for a copy of title or registration...something that has VIN and your name, address on it.

Saw 2000 #0019 is for sale here in austin at a mercedes dealer, under 33k miles, never modded except a snuglid. very clean!

 

Just call the friendly people at SVT
Have your vin# ready and they will ship you out a certificate

Thanks for the assistance guys! I was able to find the info I needed. I also tracked down the original owner who, come to find out, had purchased a 6 yr./60K warranty that the second owner never knew about... I'm meeting him tomorrow to sign the transfer paperwork - kind of like winning the mini lottery!
