I was in a hurry to get to work this morning and my low fuel light popped on. I stopped to get gas at Mobil and pumped gas. After I was done, I realized that I stuck in the 89 Octane mid-grade stuff. I know how I made the mistake though. In my neighbor hood, the superunleaded is $1.89 or so. It usually a little higher elsewhere. When I got to the pump and saw "Special" and a price of $1.95, I immediately though it was super.

I usually fill up everytime at the pump so that I'm not buying gas every 2-3 days, but fortunately I only bought about $15 worth of gas this morning. Guess I'll just have to stay out of the boost for a few days.

Yeah, run that sucker dry or add 5 gallons of C16.

 

raise the rear and put something on the pedal. run off the gas.

 

I'd just top it off with premium..if you're still stock.

 

I ran my L on 90 octane for six months, but I had a tune for it. I would suggest that you stay out of the boost. Or, you can try filling up with 93 octane that would surely help.

 

my dad accidentually put 87 in my trk once. Stay out of boost. Whenever my trk saw boost it pinged like a **** so stay out of it til the light comes on again and fill her back up with 93
