We dont know if or where it will hit, thats part of the reason we hate them. All the weather channels scramble to tell you the latest change in direction....pressure changes, speed changes...blah blah blah

The best part is when they contradict each other...which happens a lot... they even admit it from time to time when the county gets on them for confusing the public in a time of emergency

ahhhh what a tropical paradise....

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name. For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Psa 86:5-17

Hold fast East Coast! We're praying for you!

Frances is not much stronger than Charley (145 mph sustained winds along the coast - 110 mph here in Orlando - with 12-20 inches of rain) but it's over twice as big and it's moving slower, so it will stick around for a longer period of time (late Friday through early Sunday) and the damage potential is much larger. It will be a major disaster. The thing's the size of the state of Texas, if you can believe it!

Also, there is a great potential for hurricane-spawned tornados.

Just another lovely tropical day down here in paradise.

Thankfully, the Hurricane has downgraded to a category 3, (for right now) and the winds have decreased from 145 to 135 mph. Still a lot of wind but she's still far enough away that her power may decrease even more....hopefully. They say it could be a "fluctuation" and that it could easily regain power but we'll see. This one really has me worried. But, either way the two Lightnings are gonna get STUFFED into my garage in the morning. Thanks for wishing us luck everyone.....you too Gator

Hey Phil....
Your not putting your truck in any garage? Hey, Anne is still roaming Tampa looking for a Sonic-Blue-Kill.

All kidding aside...you have too much in your "L" to leave it to chance. Find a friend with extra garage space. Good luck my friend and all of you in Florida.

What Up?

Not to bad in Tampa yet, not expecting it to get to rough, got six cases just in case, ice was hard to find though. Not to worried about the L, she'll whatever we get over here. Best of luck to everyone on the east coast, it's gettin a bit windy here. Take it easy.

afchad,
I'm not to worried about the storm for us. I'm workin all day now, so if Anne wants a Sonic Blue Kill tell her to ride around after 8, I usually go to Winghouse on 4th street a few times a week.

Phil
