$1.63/gallon for premium in Lansing MICH.

just wondering if everyone is seeing the drop in the price of gas lately.
Observations:

1. I was paing almot $2.40/gallon this spring with the price of a barrel of oil was NO WHERE near the price it is now.
2. The price of a barrel of oil is the most expensive, or very near the highest it has EVER BEEN.
3. The republican convention started monday.
4. Bush is republican
5. Bush is "claimed" to have oil connetions. NAh....

I really don't care the reason why gas is so damn cheap, as long as it REMAINS cheap.

Summer is all most over the price will come down for a few days are till NOV. It is called getting your vote. Then they will use the winter heating oil deal to get it back up.

It is $1.84 to $ 2.10 in GA.

You betcha.

Adjusted for inflation, $2 gas is cheaper than 1990 gas, 1980 gas, 1970 gas, and 1960 gas.

We were spoiled in the mid-90's... mainly thanks to winning Gulf War I, the OPEC nations loosened the taps considerably.

Gas at $2 ish is VERY cheap... we just have short memories!!!

The early to mid 90's "low" prices were as said above - a 10 year agreement with Saudi (and most of OPEC) for us kicking Iraq out of Kuwait. It was a gentlemans agreement between King Fahd and Bush I.

Premium here in Tallahassee, FL is right around $1.82, dropped recently.
