Hey guys, just figured I'd pass along the info and see if anyone else wants to come and maybe run. On October 9th Etown is going to be having the "annual F-Body Vs Mustang shootout"...on another site there was a link to check out The Ad from SLP, where it stated Chevy trucks as well as Vettes and ford rangers will be allowed to race. I contacted them yesterday and ask if Lightnings would be welcomed as well and they told me yes. So does anyone else wanna come down and beat up on some chevys ??? I should be there looking for a new best ET.

Entry in the event is only $20 and spectators is $10. Oh and it also is a car show and Burnout competition as well.

i def want to go............. englishtown is about 4 hours from me. is there a set place you guys are going to meet up at?

 

Jim, me and tom live very close to eachother so we would meet on Long Island.....kinda outta the way if you aint already on the island.

 

ooo alright.......... know of any good hotels to stay for a night around there?

 

nope... maybe one of the jersey guys could tell ya. I always just drive home at the end of the night.

The following weekend is Fords at Englishtown. I think I am going to save my tires and fuel for that weekend

 

I would too, but I just dont have the $$$ for the 3day hotel stay and everything, plus all the traffic and crowds.

 

I actually have off from work during Fords@Etown, so I think I might just go to that if I don't go camping that weekend or something.
