Blew past a Hemi......
Chrysler 300 that is with 345 hp. He was at the light and I was in the left hand lane with one car in front of me. As soon as the light turned green he took off real fast, I had to wait until I had room to pass the car in front of me which I did, caught up to the 300 passed him at about 70 and put three carlenghts before shutting it down for the next light. When I passed him you could hear him winding it out but it just wasn't enough for the L. I must say the 300 is really a nice looking car.

LightningGuy, are you serious? Do they have that much drivetrain loss in their trannies?

The SRT 8 version of that car to be released shortly will have a 6.1litre HEMI rated at 420hp. That one might be more of a challenge.

That will more than likely be my next vehicle.

There's one in the parking lot at work, but dont know if its the Hemi or not. Sharp looking sedan. The other late-model pimp mobile is a 2003 Marauder (black) that is driven by a 40-something lady. Theres always a baby seat setup in back - makes me grin each time I walk by it into the office.

Sorry, my numbers were for the Hemi Ram. What does the 300 put down at the wheels?

That's why the SRT-8 has really got my interest peaked.

Haven't really seen any dyno #s but I've been poking around on some Dodge/Chrylser forums and have seen some 13.9s posted from stock 300Cs (current 340 / 390 Hemi).

13.9! Then what the hell is my truck running if I could easily beat him, now my curiosity is peaked. I really need to go to the track to see what my truck is capable of.

Preliminary performance targets for the 300C SRT-8 are 0-60 mph in the low 5-second range and quarter-mile time in the high13-second range.
