E.O.D. 2 heading to JDM tomorrow (Tuesday) for tuning!

Hi everyone,
I just thought I'd mention that the blue truck and I will be heading north to New Jersey tomorrow morning. Since JDM was good enough to supply the new motor, Jim gets to do the honors on the tuning with the new SCT software. I know it's a work day, but if anybody wants to stop by, I'll probably be there most of the day.

I'm looking for some more good numbers. not sure yet if we are going to be doing any nitrous stuff. the motor should have around 1200 miles on it by the time I get there. I'm going to try to get the bottle filled tonight, but I'll let Jim make the call as to us using it or not.

wish me luck.

I'll update as soon as we get some results.

later,
chris

What time do you plan on getting there? I work nights, and would love to come check it out.

Thanks

well, I am NOTORIOUS for running late, but as of right now, I plan on being there by 9:00am. I'm hoping to leave Richmond by 3:00am as to avoid as much Washington D.C. traffic as possible.

but I can't make any promises, as I'm usually running behind schedule for pretty much everything...

later,
chris

I'd love to see 700 too, but honestly, due to my last experience, I'm a little leary of the nitrous.

I'm not saying that nitrous broke the last motor, but I'm sure it didn't help the situation.

if we use it at all, I may just stick to a 100 shot max.

but JDM built this motor, so I'll defer to jim on that one.

I'd love to come home with 700RWHP!!! how awesome would that be?!!! but we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

I don't want a bunch of buildup though, because like I said, I'm still not even certain that we are going to spray it.

I did get in touch with my nitrous guy though, so the bottle should be full, "just in case".

later,
chris

If I remember correctly, Sal got around 550/600 at the wheels on without any spray on the old motor.

here's one of the graphs:

My donation explicitly stated:
1. No nitrous.
2. No booze or hookers (unless I am also participating).

Where's my lawyer?

Oh, wait, I am a lawyer.

Chris, what it your mailing address? I need to send you something.

Let's see . . . an Italian American from NJ is talking about "that thing."

"You mean the thing from the guy at the place. Yeah, you know. I heard some things."

Good luck. And you better post the #'s from the shop before you drive home. I don't want to wait all night.
