Hey Fellas New Here

Finally i find a great message board for the lightning. I just bought a 2001 silver lightning and want to start some mods. I would like to run close to a 12.5et or so. Need some info on what to do to the truck and where i can purchase parts. Im completely new to this so i need all the info from exhaust to pulleys i mean everything. Hope you can help and thanks in advance.

Got my 4#pulley\air from JLP
Chip is a revolution delta
Exhaust wont get you squat except for cooler sound.

bedrugs are nice.
Magnaflow seems to be one of the better, least expensive cat back systems.

For 12's, a great place to start is the basic chip, filter and pulley

Welcome to the site.
A great idea to gain knowledge is to review the post archives in general. I spent a month or more, but read every post on every thread for the previous year and a half. Some good reading and will give you a solid background for modifying the Lightning. Good luck with your project.

Welcome home ... This place is the best collection of people
in the world when it comes to Lightning knowledge....

Pick a vendor from the supporting vendor list and get a chip and pulley and your in the 12's

Traction bars
Stickies ( slicks )
Power/super cooler

Mid 12s all day long.
