Congrats to Jim and Paul...........

Just so you know. I just unloaded the truck off the trailer and sat on my sofa, about 10 minutes ago.

That has to have been the furthest drive, I ever made, to Red Light in the second round.

It's time for me to get serious. Up untill now I have been taking it easy on everyone ..........see everyone at Cordova.

I'm going into a coma now........4 hours of sleep since I woke up at 5:30 Sunday morning, isn't going to cut it.

congrats Jim,

On a side note,The track was horrible. The officials should be held accountable for all those crashes.I was sick of the announcer blaming it on the drivers. It was the track ,Not the drivers.Ive raced that track for 12 years and never saw it in as bad shape!!

I feel your pain Ron. I saw Lupe when he arrived last night with my truck and he looked like hammered dogchit. I just suffered from a little jet-lag after a 5hr plane ride I learned from last year about that trip.

Congratulations Jim for the win in Epping. It was a great weekend and an even better final round. Thanks for all your support and friendship both on and off the track. See everyone in Cordova, IL.

Last weekend was a blast. As most of you know we got rained on on Saturday from the damn hurricane. It cleared up beautiful for Sunday though. Saturday night we all went out for dinner. Jamei took us to his favorite lobster place. Needless to say we ate a lot of lobester because the dinner bill was $1,048.00!! They only gave us one qualifying run on Saturday. The truck I was driving belongs to Mike A. (Knockout_TX.) His truck has our built motor in it. I qualified at 11.40 but was brought back to an 11.50 because of not having a cage. Not knowing what the truck was going to run with the new setup I also joined Quick Ford so I could get a test and tune run which most of the truck guys do. So, Im posting the video of the test and tune run. This truck weighs 5,020 pounds with me in it. Thanks to everybody for the congrats. Paul, I'll see you in the finals in Cordova.

That track did suck. I by no means have a high power truck (390rwhp) and i was spinning just short of the 1/8th mile.....i had a 1.9 60ft on f1's and as soon as i shifted into 2nd the rear end got loose for quite a bit. I thought prep sucked.

Mike,

I just wanted to thank you again for letting me use your truck. It will be going in for the cage any day now and we will have it at FFW Cordova in a few weeks. There is should run deep into the 10's. Can't wait to see you in Texas.

Nice driving Jim. It's always fun when you can get into the action and win some races instead of sitting back and watching everyone else do it .

Yeah, welcome to NED. Place sucks and aggrivates me everytime I go up there.

Sorry I missed everyone this year, my future sister-in-law got married and it was a must attend event. I'll be at Englishtown in October so hopefully I'll get to see everyone I missed.

Good job to everyone who ran, Especially Jim!!!! Must have been a blast racing Paul in the finals!!

Hmmmmm...Must be nice . The bright side of it is, Cordova now looks like a short drive into the city.

It's really screwed up when you find yourself relieved that an event is only a thousand miles away.

Don't forget my wheels .
