most of you know i just bought and 04' cobra...but i still have the truck while im in the process of de-modding it and selling it...but last night i was on the phone talking to a friend when i heard a loud supercharger whine in the backround..i asked my friend "what was that?' she replies "oh my friend has one of those harley davidson trucks" im like hmmm...."ask him if he wants to race a lighting"...so she asks and the kid replies "dude i will tear up any lighting, ive got a pulley, chip, intake, and MAF! 410 hp dude, you dont stand a chance! "i was like hmm ok, i'll race you and i'll put $100 on it...he was like "dude are you serious?? why dont we race for pink slips??" i was like..."im sure you want the pink slip and the respect too? mr. fast and furious...hese like "why dou you wanna race?" i reply "because im going to win" him, and his buddy are just laughing at me thinking they are gunna hand some Lighting his ***..he agrees to meet up....so i drive acoss town and meet this kid...when i get there hese like "open you hood"...i was like dude i have intake and exhaust" do you wanna go or not? "then the kid got all scared or something and was like i dont wanna street race you on the street...ide be gald to meet you at a track and street race you" i was like "dude street racing is done ON THE STREET retard...well he agrees to go from a 40 roll...he gets up beside me and i say "go on the 3rd beeb" hese like "huh?? 3rd what? im like...dude this guys obvisouly doesnt race much, but talks alot of crap...so i just tell him to go...he punhces it.i waited for 2 seconds to make him think he was doing really good THEN I NAIL IT! flew my him when he was already 2 cars in front of me while my buddy was waving bye bye to him...Oh man the look on his face was priceless!!! i slow down and notice he wont come back up next to me at all!! he was staying a good 10 cars away from me! so i signal him to turn around...we make the U-turn and he nails the gas flys by me and doesnt let off...me and my friend look at each other and just laugh...so i roll into it, and start to reel him in upward at around 80mph im at his door, at this time i let off the gas a little so i hang right next to his door...his buddy was like "thats right you aint got chit" 110mph i let off, hese STILL ON IT!! so i just put it to the floor! blew by him while my friend gave him the finger.... after we shut down he was like how much does your truck weigh? i said "around 4,700 lbs) hese like "thats why you beat me i weigh 7,100) i was like yeah right!!! hahah...i said to him "i told you i was gunna win" hese like what else do you have done? i just stared at him and said "kenne bell" he about cried and then got off at the next exit! hahaha!! what a great night! went home $100 richer!!! this is what i will miss about the L...

I have a similar story, but it didn't involve money....just a chit talking 'Vette owner. Oh, and I was in my "lowly" 2000 GT at the time. Not quite as good as your story though.
