Its octane booster.
If you want to increase your octane, stick to racing gas or toulene

I tried octane boost, didn't notice any change from sunoco 94. Tried 98 octane (4.89 gallon) still no change but felt safer. Think the only time you need the higher octane is when you start increasing the timing? I still need to do some data logging before I get a conclusion.

You are wasting $$$ on octane boosters. First of all, they don't do anything but raise the octane by tenths of a point, not by points: 93.4 not 97 for a 4 point increase.

If you're not tuned for it, you don't need higher octane anyway. If you are tuned(race chip program for instance) for a higher octane then get some of this or real race fuel.

From: Colorado,
What they said!

Most octane boosters are just a blend of solvents to slow down the burn and prevent detonation. It will not inhance power.

About the only thing it is good for is to help in the event you get some bad fuel somewhere and want to burn it off with less risk of detonation.

There is no substitute for the real thing when it counts.

Excuse me for jumping in but “l-menace” You got it backward, Toluene (Methyl Benzene) R+M/2...=114 and Xylene R+M/2... =117. Please see link.

http://www.nitrous.co.uk/

and

http://www.nitrous.co.uk/toulene.htm

They also give you the mixing formulas!

I have a Xylene junky for a truck.... She lovessssss that stuff!!!!

Been using it for about 45,000 miles... Started with Toluene, and graduated to Xylene..

I do have a question if I may, I had my plugs changed (for the first time) at about 43,000 and they where coated with a red residue, does this hut them???

(I installed a lower 4lbs (No Chip)) The truck L-01 did not run right with the old plugs, installed new ones She is ok now…

Nope. That's just from something in the fuel you're using--not to worry.
