You tripped the PATS. Time for a locksmith, or a trip to the dealer.

The keys need to be reprogramed.

Check your fuel pumps. You may have blown of the hoses. It is a semi common occurance in the 99/00s. Had mine come off on the freeway last summer. More than likely you'll have to just reconnect the hose, but there is a chance that the pump itself could be bad (mine was).

If you do end up needing new pumps you might as well buy some bigger ones as they are cheaper than getting the Ford replacement. I was lucky enough that mine happend the day after my warranty was out, but they sqeezed me in. Invoice was around $800 plus a $200 flatbed tow.............

Good luck, I hope it is something more simpler like PATS.

Disconect the battery go have a beer, and try it later.

Sometimes that will reset the pats system.

check the 30 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood. It is the one closest to the firewall. Mine blew in the burnout box at the track and that was what it did. Wouldnt start.....replaced the 30 amp fuse and it started right up. Theft light was blinking like you stated
