Angry LFP Torque arms won't clear exhaust!

Does anyone know if the Bassani or the JDM silver bullet exhaust will clear the LFP traction bars with the 30mm drop kit from FRPP? The previous owner had custom pipes made for two flowmaster mufflers and the new bars I tried to put on today do not fit. I want to keep these bars though.

So does anyone have the same setup. Its about a 2" drop in the back with Rancho type 58" bars. Will those exhausts clear?

THanks in advance.

Jon

I have Bassani, LFP bars, and 2 inch belltech shackles. It clears, but only buy a quarter of an inch or so. I have seen other guys with the same setup have as much as 2 inches clearance. It seems like it is really dependant on the individual truck for some reason.

Jon,
I just installed the LFP traction bars Saturday on my 03 with Bassani exhaust. I have a set of 02 rear springs (SVTKY's) with a set of 2 inch drop shackles. There is about 1 inch clearance between the Bassani and the traction bars, but when I hit a bump on the highway the exhaust and traction bars are hitting each other with produces a rather unfavorable "clank." When I get time I will try to adjust the exhaust a little to get some more clearance.

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone know about the silver bullet? It is a little cheaper than bassani, I was thinking of going with that.

Cheaper is not always better ... Go Bassani and
you won't ever regret the sound investment (Pun intended!)

I have the JDM Silver Bullet along with JLP traction bars and the 2" drop. Fits no problem & the sound of the exhaust is "WOW"

Hmmm...

Ok, well now I don't know whether I will go with the Bassani or the Silver bullet. I've heard great things about both. And the silver bullet is $175 cheaper. Any supporting vendors wanna convince me which one to buy?

Those are the bassani Gator? That stainless looks pretty rusty doesnt it?

From: Colorado,
Over the long run $175 is nothing if your not happy.

The Bassani have a nice bell/flange outlet to allow you to adjust the tip height ext.

The sound is what Ford should have done to begin with.
Very nice, but I am prejudice

Bassani and Silver Bullet...

I've had both of these, I like the Bassani much better than the SB. My SB had a really annoying drone at highway speed. Bassani wins hands down IMHO in every category.

Actually the SB is $525 and you can get the Bassani through LFP for $619 so it's actually less than $100 between the two.

Yep, those are Bassani.........the Jersey salt chewed them up. My tips still look great, but I clean those. Never got under the truck to clean the pipes. Hey, Iam lazy, thats why I got a silver truck
