I never thought about how hot the exhaust tips get! Good tip. But, I think the fuel tank problem put the final "Kabosh" on my idea. I use my bed way to much to have a fuel cell back there. Oh well, maybe when I get the new '06 L I can get crazy with the '03. We'll have to see. Thanks guys!

 

Stan's fuel cell is under the bed.

Tim is rite the bed is fully functional IF iI want I can haull 4X8 sheets in there and still close the tail gate.And IF I need fuel while I am haulling them just pull up to the pump and full up like everyone else who owns one.STan

 

Thats cool! But I am guessing the spare and hitch had to go. But, for what you are doing, they prob. had to go anyways. Thanks for clearing all this up for me!
