Larger MAF?

I've read on here about people pegging their MAF when they reach certain power levels. I've also seen a couple of larger MAFs (REM and JDM?)...

My question is, does the MAS come calibrated for the larger diameter housing? Or will it peg regardless of diameter since the electronics remain the same?

If the MAS is not calibrated for the larger diameter piping, will this effect driveability at all? I assume a new tune is needed to account for it....

it needs to be calibrated.

Not all the parts that "SOME" of the "tuners" sell are beneficial, some just cause headaches while they pocket your money.

Stick with the big ones. PSP, JLP, yeah thats about it

Do PSP or JLP make these larger MAFs? I couldn't find anything on their websites. Also, isn't JDM a large Lightning vendor? REM is pretty well-known too I think...

A thread I started last week.

Next, once the MAF is pegged, it is a shot in the dark at what the acutal af ratio is. They can come close but that is it.

The only answer is the SCT MAF sensor, PSP is a SCT dealer, so he should have them.
