My kid will be 10 this month, but for his early days,
he was strapped in everything from BB Chevelles, to Nova's, Monte S/S, Mustang GT's, 5.0's, Pace Car Stang, Cobra Convert Monte S/S, and prob 10 other performance vehicles.
Another words NO PROB...........

I loaded my niece's baby seat one time. It was in the center. It sat a little too high in my opinion. I didn't feel very safe with her there. I don't remember placing it on the passenger seat though. Oh, I remember! I didn't place it there because of the air bag. I think there's a "Warning" somewhere on our trucks. Visor maybe?

Just a suggestion, but I'd rather get another vehicle that's built with a little more child safety in mind.

I think I'm just going to be a very paranoid father.

The passenger air bag can be disabled with the turn of a key.

Booster seat in Lightning

I have 2 of the Simpson's booster seats for my 7 & 5 year old sons. Just turn off the front air bag and the seats fit no problem in the middle lap belt and passenger side shoulder belts. The wife doesn't go with us to Atco Raceway or car shows!!! One child, 2 adults and still the best truck in the world!!!

I have a Graco car seat, works fine on the pass. side.

Pepboys have the best price for the Simpson seat $100, Jegs and others are $140+. Its made by Graco, but some have a different name on them. The other company is owned by Graco.

When you goto look at them go to Babys R Us, they will let you test fit before you buy. I got and returned 5 seats before getting the one I have now. The others would not sit right when rear facing.

well i wish i could just go out and buy another car with "safety" in mind but unfortunatly im 22 years old, with a brand new Lightning, brand new house and a few other toys, including the 22 inch wheels i just bought, so a new car isnt an option.

Besides a lightning in canada is stickered at 48 000 brand new + taxes. So im on a pretty tight budget right now and i dont wanan get rid of the truck

My son loves to ride in my Truck. I think he likes the view better than the back seat of the wifes car.
