That is just one part, it does not include the whole accumulator like the FTVB.

I have bought two of Greg's valve bodies.....one for my 99 and another for my 03. While at FFW in Houston two years ago a friend of mine wanted to buy a valve body for his Harley. I assumed there would not be much difference in the FTVB and another brand. He bought one from one of the vendors that day. It was NOT a FTVB. After having trouble with two different units shifting so hard that it felt like the rear end would come out from under the truck at wide open shifts, he got his money back and bought one from Greg. NO MORE PROBLEMS! It's no worth taking the chance. Greg is the best and no one stands behind their products like Greg does!

Nope, not mine. And the total cost to me of those parts is about $20, I think $75 is a little high for them.

(granted, I buy valves by the gross and springs I get in boxes of 600, but come on)

I also change the lower circuit valves (and I machine my own, so there are no "we use the same parts" out there, and I have the equipment needed to calibrate the whole valve body, which is why I think mine are better, everyone who doesn't properly calibrate the assembly is guessing, plain and simple.

Does anyone know if Gregg "signs" every FTVB ? I bought mine and it did not have any markings on it at all ??

Just wondering...

I absolutely love my FTVB. It is how the shifts should be from the factory.

I can patch 2'nd and chirp 3'rd at WOT.

Some time this weekend I'll be finishing the "mother of all transmission posts" on the board from the state that just got hit by a hurricane. Regardless of what you think of the issues that brought it on, it'll be a real good and incredibly in depth discussion of the 4R100 and the FTVB. It looks like it might run 10,000 words if I don't stop soon, but it's not something you can do in a few sentences.

Gregg didn't sign mine
I would like to have an "autographed valve body" but it not worth draining the pan.
I think that was something that Gregg started to do after the first ones came out, right Gregg?

Looking forward to reading your short post
Got the printer full of paper

My post is up on the other board, for anyone who wants to see it. I had to cut it donw quite a bit, it came in at about 2600 words I think, but the math was all taken out.

Nope, he doesn't sign them all. Just look for the solid bore caps without the threaded holes to remove them. Supposedly Gregg is the only one who uses those. BTW mine wasn't signed either.
