Exclamation Having a Problem

The other day I removed the blower and cleaned the IC. At that time I also changed the plugs. Now if I am at highway speeds and hit the gas the truck just dies. It only does it at highway speeds not anything else. I am thinking it is the plugs since the are br7's and are to cold for my mods. Can anyone think of what could be causing this, if I missed something when I put everything back together. I have changed the fuel filter and reinstalled my chip to no avail. I have a ruff idle that I believe is caused by the plugs but could I have a vac leack that is causeing the problem. I am lost.

The first thing I'd check is the big rubber elbow between the throttle body and the MAF. It need to be tight and correctly seated on both ends. If the MAF can't tell the engine how much air is going through the system, the idle will get rough and the truck will stumble. There are also three things that connect to the bottom of the elbow. Make sure they're in place as well.

I doubled checked all the vac connections as well as the intake boot and they were OK. Then I installed a set of TR6 plugs and the problem is no longer there. The idle is great and there is no more miss when coasting at highway speeds. I was able to punch it a few times on the highway and the truck pull like a SOB and didn't die.

Well, I don't think the plugs where the problem ... I have been
running the BR7ef's for over a year with great results. No
stumble here. Maybe the second time you got whatever was
the problem the first time fixed?

You coming down to Clay City on Saturday for Car Wars?
