Mr. RobG did the same thing as I did and went to the forums and got the information. I suspect we will not see the point standings till tomorrow or Wednesday.

Today is the keepers of the information (FFW crew) travel day.

I can't tell you who won as we left before it ended Sunday. But I can tell you the 93cobra and I had a great time in Bristol. The track facilities are top notch, the people were great, and the city of Bristol is spotless.
Neither one of us made it past the 2nd round either day.
I will return there next year. It put Norwalk to shame!!!

I'll second that.........I liked how they had it laid in the middle of a cut out valley...that was very cool.

Look at the background of these pics......hearing mod motor engines in this valley was unreal. This place is named properly.

There are a few more pics from around the pits here:

Also a few from the Virginia event are here:

That track was definitely the best I have seen. I ran quicker at this track than here at home, plus we were at 3475' of elevation!
On a side note, I did introduce myself to Jim @ JDM and we talked for a bit. He is a nice guy in person, and talked cars with us for a bit.

You ran better cause the track was prepped well. Wait and go next week for example and all you will do is spin.

Actually........myself and a couple other fellows that I know about spun on the launch pad in the first round. It cost us the race in all three instances.

I thought the track prep was about average for a FFW event. But the scenery and friendly atmosphere made it a very nice event.
