Get some string or something and tie your camera to an oh **** handle or something so if the suction cups lose their grip the camera doesn't hit you or get lodged under your brake pedal.

That's just the pic from the website I bought it from. I attach the shoulder strap to o-***** handle when it's mounted on the windshield and hang it on the coat hooks when it's mounted to the back window. I've also go a clamp base to clamp it in place.

I just wonder what I'm going to attach the camera to when I build up the courage to mount it to the outside of the truck for some extreme footage...

what the hell is banging around?

Why are you driving like that through a sub division?

You're supposed to do that at night to wake everyone up

that mount looks kinda rigid/ Will it bounce around alot over bumps? My camera has a "steady hands" feature that eliminates the small movements (unsteady hands)...

I have a few keys on my key ring and three key fobs (one for the Lightning, one for the daily driver and one for the garage door opener). That's what you hear bouncing around.

My camera has that same feature, but what I did to stabilize the camera even more is to put it close to the headliner and cushion it with padding above the camera to solidify the mounting. That way it is held really steady. The first video I took the, camera was moving around noticeably and you could hear the vibration in the recording, but in this one, even under a quick downshift under load there is little vibration.

I really like this set up. http://www.chasecam.com

looks really good.

I too was wondering what the hell was bouncing around in your truck, sounded like a pile of wrenches.

And yeah you rolled that stop sign.

Anyone else find his laugh to have a kind of creepy glee?

Nice vid. What are you running? An open air intake, ftvb, and some exhaust mods? Sounds great.

Be careful of cops, you violated about 3 laws there...

We all drive Lightnings, so shouldn't the camera be facing out the back window? I mean if we had an SRT-10 then it would be ok to have the camera facing forward, this way we could get good footage of the Lightning that was beating us.

Open air intake, power pipe, BilletFlow TB, Apten ported Eaton, 4# lower, e-fan/waterpump, heat exchanger, Maganflow cat back and a bulletproof built tranny with valve body for unbelievable shifts under load (hence the evil laugh after the mighty scratch). That tranny will break the tires loose under load on all shifts.

As for the laws, yeah, I know. I am ashamed.

By the way, I was thinking the laugh sounded a little more like Yogi Bear...
