You will SEE the difference, you should HEAR the difference,
however don't expect a huge seat of the pants difference.
Feeling a tenth or two is not always easy with the S.O.T.P. meter

I switch back and fourth from 4 to 6lb's "A LOT",
I run 4lbs in the extreme cold weather, and 6 in the Spring and Summer. Up to recent I would only run with 4lbs, (I seem to run better ET's ?) but my 11.81 was with 6lbs but I think the
perfect cold overcast day is the reason for the ET more than the extra 2lbs, I have numerous 12.0's with 4lbs on much hotter days,
so I think I can pul off 11's easy enough on a cooler day.

So FOR ME, I don't see much change in the ET's with the extra 2lbs, BUT I LOVE HAVING 10lbs OF BOOST AT 1/8-1/4 THROTTLE
and over 15 at WOT

Hard to say Scott,

Without Juice I USE TO only running 12.7's - 12.8's
(but I havent tried one in quite some time, I should be faster now)

Here is a Filter chip n 4lb Run at Cecil NO NITROUS (I'm #66)

(terrible 60 though, last time out I cut a 1.63)

Now here's my first ever 12 second run way back when WOO HOO
(THIS IS an open filter, 4lbs ONLY, and my old single chip)

(and yes this was prob the most aggresive program I ever had)
(ON F-1's BTW, notice the terrible 60ft time)

Here I'm #47
This is with 6lbs and no Nitrous, on hoosiers

Still never got the MPH back, but F-1's will give you more MPH than slicks. As you see, not much of a diff, but I say GO FOR IT, There's nothing like Boost, WOO HOO..........

When I went from the 2# to the 4#, the difference on the dyno was about 2-3HP and 15-20ftlb of torque or so. It made about as much of a difference in the overall feel of the driving experience as the throttle body did...in otherwords, no noticeable difference.

2 more pounds is two more pounds, though.

I just got back from the dyno minutes ago. With a 4# lower, PSP Predator, and Magnaflow catback, I pulled 383/467

Today, with the addition of a 2# upper, and a cold air kit, I pulled 397/498

I think most of the increase was from the extra 2#, as a friend went again today with only a new cold air kit and saw 1hp/2lbft

hope this helps.

This may be due to the fact that many of the pullies touted as 4# pullies do not make a true four pounds of extra boost. At the same time, many of the early 2# lower pullies actually made more than two pounds. Therefore, the difference between a 2# and a 4# lower would not be all that dramatic because the upgrade would equal roughly a pound and a half.

However, jump from a 4# to a 6# (or from a 2# to a 5# like I did) and you will see and feel substantial gains, given you've received a good tune for the new setup.
