Stupid cool!

Consider this pic stolen for timskelton.com.

I'd pay $75 for just that shot.

Tim,

Consider it a gift ... If it wasn't for you and Stan
wageing the war against "It's a Truck, Stoopid"
I wouldn't have gone where I have gone.

But DAYUM it sure feels good when you get it right.

On another topic, after the Hoosier failure, I stopped at
the Hoosier headquarters in South Bend and talked to one
of their engineers. After showing him the tire, he stated
that they didn't MAKE a tire that would stand up to the load
of our trucks. They might work, he said, but not for long.
(As I found out!)

The Goodyear engineers were a bit more sure of the GS/CS
and were quite alright with me running them on the Lightning.

Of course the PRICE difference is substantial. ($100 v.s. $273)

But dang those Hoosiers sure STICK. And they say NEW ones
are even betta.

Shiney Side up Bro !!!

Cliff

You need an in-cab camera.

There is a lot of tire loading but look at the alignment of the skirt on the door with the skirt on the bed! Is it just me or is there some real frame torque there? Who says you can't push 4800 pounds of truck with a high center of gravity around a corner!

Cliff,

That picture really needs to be blown up, printed, and framed! Hell, I'm thinking about doing it for my own garage!

Excellent work!

Great shot Cliff! I wish there was a way for all of us 1%ers (all 8 or 10 of us) to get together and run on the same track one day. L fest is just too far for me and to little track time for my money. By the way....you have mail.

Got it Jerry ...

The 8x10 cost $25 so I imagine what a poster size would cost.

Lightning Fest is too fdar for too little for my money too. It's
a great track though. Too bad the 99 percenters don't try it out.
It's a LOT more exciting than those 11 second bursts ...

Maybe Road Atlanta or Talladega ... I could drive that far I think....

Well the resolution is correct, but the scanner "barred"
the scan, so it's not as good as it could be ...

Absolutely awesome picture SVT_KY! I love it! And look at that frame flex between the cab and bed on the driver's side!
