Thumbs up PSP to be at Lightning/HD Truck Fest

I am pleased to announce that PSP will be attending this years Lightning/HD Truckfest put on by the NLOC. We will not be bringing bolt on items, but we will have chips, tuners, and will be doing on site programs. There will be a chassis dyno there I am told, so we might even be able to do dyno tuning on some trucks.

We will also have our 01 test truck there. If it's track worthy then I will race it, otherwise it will just be there for people to check out. You will be able to see our F1R Procharger blower setup in person.

We look forward to going, and for event info check out the official site: http://www.lightningfest2004.com/index.php

There is no spray on the truck currently, but I was thinking of running a 50 shot for some extra cooling, just because I don't use any kind of power coolers or anything. But that would be it.

Thats sounds far away
Times like this I wish I had V's money, and a Trailer

Is KS like hours or days away from NY ??? I truly have no clue.
At 44 and never being on a plane, I'm not exactly what you would call a world traveler if you know what I mean. I've driven to California, Canada, and most of my surrounding States, but can't say I know anything about KS except an old Song
OR SOMETHING

Glad to hear you and the Beast are going Sal

It would be the exact same thing as driving to California except about half that far

rob figure on about 19hours or so, depending on how you drive. I personally made it to Mid Missouri in 13 non stop. So it could probably be done in a day as long as you got GOOD company and dont tire easy.

I did 1400 miles in about 17 hours or so.
But lets stick to the point of the post. PSP will be in the house laying the smack down to whoever wants some.

OK I DESERVED THAT, Thanks Jim

If anyone has Teenage children and they ever get into drugs,
you should make them read each and everyone one of my post,
and show them what that crap does to your brain (or lack of it)
(hey look a 44 yr old with an infant's brain)

Kinda like a scared straight program,
OR SOMETHING

Man that looks like the Lightning event of Lightning events,
I see there's a awesome road course, the 1320, a Car Show, Vendors, Parts, stuff to buy, tuning, etc....
Fun Fun and More Fun, unfortunatly I would need new tires before I could ever attempt a road course, not to mention a day or two to get there and the same to get back, maybe next year I'll have to save some vacation time and try and make an event like this. Dam how come they never have these things closer to home.

Hey maybe I can do that click my heels thing, it worked for Dorothy, hehehehehe

Wink Convoy to LightningFest

Actually many of the folks trecking west from NJ etc are planning a stop at Jeff Sparkmans house in Indy. on Wednesday night 22 September. They will then drive to Topeka in time for the regular track T&T evening...DOT tires only.

Here is the links to the planning threads:

It is an awesome event. Don't miss it!

Sal, it'll be good to finally get the opportunity to meet you in person! Glad you're going to make it this year.
