Stumbling & Bad Idle

Since my engine has been put back together, I have had some idle problems (idles fine for awhile, then rpms lower and it dies). Also from time to time it stumbles and almost bucks at low rpms. Any ideas? Besides that though, it runs like a monster with JLP's stage II cams and ported heads.

Thanks,
Mark

It's got 20k on it, but the engine only has 5k. The fuel filter is new.

Thanks,
Mark

I would say clean your IAC valve it's on the passenger side of the supercharger plenum. It has a plug and a large vacuum line coming off of it. It effects , idle, gas milage, and boost.

Any way its a starting point.

yes IAC, I had symptoms like this and lubricating and cleaning the IAC fixed it. Hope the problem ends up being that easy. Good luck.

Your cam timming might be off. Mine had symptoms like that and one head was off just one link on the timming.
