Angry Clunk with Roush, Caltracs & Bassani

After installing Caltracs on my Roush and Bassani equipped truck, I've got this annoying clunk coming from my right rear. I tracked the problem down to the lower bolt on the front spring mount. It's hitting one of the tailpipes. Has anyone had to "dimple" their pipe? Also, how should these be adjusted. With the top bolt just touching the spring, the rear doesn't squat at all.

Thanks in advance,
Edward

I had that problem when I was lowered only 2" in the rear and just installed my Truck Traks. Solved the problem my lowering the truck another 2" with hangers.

How bad is it hitting? If it's just the clunk noise annoying you, perhaps get a rubber bolt cap to reduce/silence the noise?

Yes..I dimpled my stock exhaust pipe..the rear one. I have the Roush stuff and drop shackels. You must have got the regular F-150 Cal Tracs like I did. Sal sell some specifically made for the Lightning that don't infringe on the pipes. The dimple ain't no problem.....

I've got the Bassani-specific front brackets; but it still just barely hits. I guess I'll be getting the hammer out.

Thanks,
Edward
