Viper truck

Hey stopped off at a dealer and saw it.. Very nice truck, but bear in mind I am not a DODGE PERSON OK.......... But it is a nice truck, because of the awsome Viper motor ( love it). Have not seen one run yet but a buddy of mine has and he said the best pass he made all day was a 13.7, not that impressive, I ran better then that stock.. Ok so if we blow our motor, we can get a built motor for like $3600 not cheap but affordable.. Now my question is they mod the Viper motor and blow it up how much would that one cost?????????

PEacE...............

A friend of mine just bought this

and 50 ft marks

are not a problem. Even with all the power they advertise it still didn't feel any quicker than my L did stock. He is already looking into the stage 1 kit offered by Hennesey for the viper. Should bump him up to the 650hp range. I can't wait to line up with that guy!

Whats a stage 1 kit ? See thats just what I mean you give 50k for a truck and you still have to mod it...
Must admit, I was tempted to see how much they would give me for my truck...

Hey, for a mere $19,500 you can have the Venom 600 kit installed on an SRT-10 and it will run high 12s.

No kidding, check it out. And it takes what....... about $600-$700 in performance mods to get high 12s out of a Lightning?

That is the kit from Hennesey, the same engine modifications they did to the Viper Venom 600. It is a worked head, intake manifold and cam kit. He sent his Z06 to John Lingenfelter to get his twin turbo kit installed two years ago, so I think he should have no problem affording what he wants to do to his truck. Regardless, I'm gonna own that *** when we line up!

More than I'd want to pay! BUT, it is one hell of a nice truck. It drives great and handles just was well. Worth the money? If you have it to blow, they yea go for it. But a good L for half the money is a no brainer if you ask me.

Hey, but the real bargain is the $42,000 twin turbo kit that gets the SRT-10 in the mid-11s.

From: Colorado,
Everything about it pretty much sounds nice.

I just can't afford one and even if I could I just can't get past the looks of that grill.
That and I have become accustom to driving while drinking my morning coffee in traffic. I am to lazy to shift.

Never hear comments on how they sound. Seems like 10 cylinders would play a nice song. I bet there quiet like a stock L

i read in peterson's 4wheeler last year in a ultimate motor swap for your 4x4 or somethin like that that a Viper Crate Motor was 14,900... but that was before the changes made in the motor that debuted in the new viper
