Fuel pumps for Lightnings

I thinking upgrading my fuel pumps. Any advise?

Why?

It would help to know your mods and future plans.

I think you need to be making some serious HP with bigger injectors to need bigger pumps.....

Probably 450+ to start thinking about it. The new MM+FF magazine did a test and our pumps were pretty underowered.

All 255gph pumps are not the same. Some have a suction opening the size of a pencil, where as some are the size of a dime. I spent the extra and bought the wide mouth Walboro's

Make sure you get the return style also, as I believe the returnless are different.

See my sig down below. I know I don`t really need them but a little insurance is good. What are in the truck right now? 225-lph? And yes 2BSCREWED, I also have heard that the the stockers are that great. I think the SVT Focus have stronger pumps. I`m just looking into a better replacement.

Jim, there's no reason to change out your pumps for where you are at. But when you are ready, I have the pump kit for you.
