In-Cab Video Camera Mount?

OK, I did do a search but found very little on the subject, so I'm adding a new thread.

Now that I've got one of these fancy-shmanzy digital video camera, I want to do some videos, but need to figure out how to mount the camera in the truck. Most mounts I've seen on the Internet are cage mounts, and since I don't have a cage I can't really use them. Anybody have any ideas, or have something that they could recommend that will remain fairly steady even under WOT?

I'm trying to work through some ideas on how to build one as well, but I can't turn on my engineering brain this morning.

Thanks,
Tom

I got mine from I/O port racing. It is a suction cup mount one. I forget the brand name, but it is made in Germany. It cost me around $100.

Mabe you could find one that the State Troopers use, just a thought.

Get this. www.stickypod.com or if you have the talent make one from this design.

I have one and used it for SCCA soloII and Open track at halet raceway. It worked really well in my stang. I have not had it on the L yet.
