Brisk sparkplugs?

I've been reading claims of a substantial increase in power from Brisk sparkplugs and was wondering if any of you guys had input on this new product. I found out about it from this NLOC thread: http://www.nloc.net/forum/showthread...threadid=75137

Also, here is the manufacturer's website: www.briskusa.com or www.brisk.cz

From: Colorado,
Seems like it might be allright.

With these plugs, if you don't know the heat range or you want to change it your SOL.

I suppose if enough guys start running them we would know soon enough.

Just a different kind of mouse trap,

It would have been more fair to take the brisk back out and install new plugs that were the correct kind for that tune.

I wonder how long they last for normal driving?

Well, the foreign website is a lot more advanced, so maybe their US operations is just not up to par yet.

Where do they claim to net a 70 hp increase?

I didn't know you could change the heat range after installing a set of plugs? With these, I know you don't have to gap them since there is no electrode.....

As long as you currently have a strong spark how could just changing plugs with no extra tuning give you more power.

I know Jerry at Strictly Performance, In fact, they tuned my truck. They are some of the best Cobra tuners in the area. Give Jerry a call and see what the scoop is. Last I heard these plugs were not available to the public. Maybe by now they have been released.

According to their website, it allows for a stronger spark?

How was the air fuel ratio compared to the Denso plugs that they were tested against?

you guys realize it only a SPARK PLUG.

and it's only job is to SPARK!

I've read all about sustained spark and the other BS.
I'd compare it to NGK v Denso. Denso cost 4 times more and there is no PERFORMANCE BENEFIT, there is a weaker ad more fragile porcelin though.

save your money and stick with NGK. Next you'll be talking about stickers giving you more horsepower

If stickers have a dyno sheet to prove their horsepower, you better believe I'll buy them.

I've seen them dyno'ed back to back on a Cobra, allowing for cool down time, and they showed 0 hp increase when compared to IT22'. When compared to stock plugs they probably would have shown a difference, but against Denso's nothing. At least on a Cobra. Just my .02
