for those who don't know, Rob is running a STOCK bottom end and has slowly throughout the summer been turning up the boost.

now an 11.81 on a stock engine is impressive considering there is NO NITROUS.

Just wait until the built block gets dropped in and they really turn up the boost

From: Colorado,
As usual I am in my normal state of confusuion

Congradulations Rob on the 11sec (I think?)

Centrifical SC?
No NOS?
Stock Block?
Never run at the track in July and August cause of the heat?

WTF, Over?

Well, if the wizzard of NOS is happy, I am happy for him to.

I new I should have stopped sooner....only one gray cell left and it's damaged. Or is that right?left

Nope not a turbo, it's a Paxton Novi 2000R centrifical supercharger.

Yes he does it without nitrous, I won't let him use it.
Yes he has a stock block, we have a new baby coming any day now (literally) so the built block had to put into next winter budget.

He is supposed to check in with me after first round of eliminations this morning so we'll see how he can do today.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'll make sure he finds this thread when he gets home tonight.

Those are some sweet numbers on a stock block with no juice.
For that I

Really looking forward to the future with a built bottom and more boost

I mean, anybody can run an 11 once on juice

The first round elimination results have been posted. Rob ran an 11.70 on a 11.86 dial in to win over a 10.02 on a 10.48 dialin. So both broke out, but Rob ran closer to his dialin to take the win. He also killed the other guy on the tree, .145 to a .557.

Way to go Rob!

Whoops, read that wrong. Rob ran a 11.86 on a 11.70 dialin to the other guys 10.48 on a 10.02 dialin.

He red lit in the 2nd round. Rolled through the lights trying to get the revs up.

BTW, in the first round, he said he let off the gas big time because he thought he was going to break out.

Bummer on the 2nd round loss. I saw the times posted and wondered how he lost since he had a better overall time. For some reason, didn't think about a red light. Duh!

I take it since you're still home, no news yet. unless you have wireless in your delivery room.

Just to back up the post about Rob not being able to get traction. well I was behind him in the water box waiting on my turn to do my thing anyway it spun them pretty hard and got the truck a little sideways. To make a long story short the way it sits now it's got more. So watch out guys the paxton is going to kick some *** when he is able to turn up the boost. GREAT JOB ROB. It was nice to finally pit with you this weekend. Jeff Almost forgot if I remember correctly he said it got up to 20 pounds of boost. Pretty stout for a stock bottom end.

With centrifugal boost coming on gradually and being cooler per PSIG, so it's not surprising to see that boost level. That's probably less stressful on the engine than 15 PSIG of Eaton boost.
