i have a 99 L with long tubes, no cats and borla, way to loud for my taste especially at wot. ijust got my magnaflow in the mail, now my question is would going with the LTs and maggys along with the stock cats quiet it down? or should i go with high flow cats. what should i do? i dont want my exhaust to loud i want to be able to hear the supercharger whine.thanks

 

magnaflow vs borla, magnaflow = better + quieter, high flow cats, like magnaflows will make it even louder.
stick with stock.

I got JBA shorty headers, stock cats, and magnaflow cat-back, it sounds great.

 

How are the short tubes? Are they cheaper? With all this talk of spending a bunch of money for just sound (when I would rather here blower whine) it just makes me wonder if its worth getting long tubes. If I can get just a little more sound, cheaper price, little more flow, maybe a little drop in boost, and a great looking header for cheaper, Id be interested... give some feedback, thanks
