I was running 3.55, the new gearing is 3.73. Now I don't bog in the midrange (city driving).

It took two days, but the smell of differential fluid (nasty stuff) is finally gone.


BTW: the original bearing races were pitted badly (55,000 mi). The tech said to change the fluid every year regardless of mileage.
