Has anyone ever hooked up the Data Link Connector to their L? I went to get my truck inspected the other day and they can't get a reading.

I got the DLC from Ford, they want $80 to install though. Autozone was able to get a reading for their OBD II code reader but the inspection place couldn't. Perplexing.

I don't think I can solder the wires, looking for an explanation.
