Question 23" wheels?

Has anyone put 23's on their L? I've been looking for those Maido MS5's on QuickBrick's L, but could only locate a set of 23 x 10s. Sounds too big, but I love those wheels! Should I keep looking for the 22's?

23's will fit.. i have seen a few lightnings up close an personal with 23's.

MOST on here will give the lecture of, "nothing bigger then 20's, these are performance trucks..." Blah, Blah, Blah... talkie, talkie.

Its your truck, your money, and IMO i happen to like the "big wheel look." Or you can just slam it on 22's for a nice look.

Thanks for the feedback...I'm still on the fence. The guy who's selling the Maidos says they're actually for GM 6-lug, but he can drill them for $35/ea. to a 5x135 without compromising the wheel. Is that true?

Budnik M5's are looking good to me too, was thinking of Boyd's but my search revealed a lot of dissatisfied L owners because of fabricating/delivery time! Guess he's too busy making tv shows. Anybody have experience with Budniks?

krix: Thanks for the advice...I figured I'd get ripped for bringing it up here, but the guys on this site are truly experts when it comes to our trucks! I had to ask. BTW, Love your HD, what kind of suspension mods did you do? It sits just perfect.

speedjunky: I've read a lot of your posts, and you ARE a balla'! Sweet ride. How the hell do you bankroll all those mods, it's ridiculous!

unoid: what they don't know...won't hurt me.

u can fit 23" wheels on there with no problems, there was a set of 23x10.5" O.Z. vela's on mine and it was dropped. i will tell u that the 10.5s in the front rub when u hit bumps inside the wheel well so try to not go any wider then 10" up front.

I kindof doubt it...

I don't doubt that he may be able to drill them, but without compromising the strength of the wheel center?

Those Maido wheels on Toms truck are pricey. They are 22's and are the only ones I have ever seen on anything
