You guys that have the Harley grill on your truck, how much did you pay for it ?, and were did you buy it from ?, I checked the price at the dealer and they want over $350 dollars for it. thats to damn much for a piece of chromed plastic.

I didn't want to spend the $300 on grills myself so I went out and spent $20 to make my stock grills look like a harley grill...kinda.

Did you use chrome pin-striping to get your grilles to look like this? They look awesome

No, believe me I tried that, does not work, chrome pinstriping does not turn corners very well they were made mainly for straight line performance kinda like our L's Before this I had red pinstriping for a while that looked
deacent but then I purchased stock chromed rims from a friend so I wanted to go with a chromed theme. For info about this I had posted this in an earlier
thread here https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...=hows+my+grill
but to be straight to the point I used Chromed wheel molding, very cheap and durable and if it gets scratched just replace it, hope this helps.

Hey,

I've never even looked for a Harley grille, but just off the top of my head, you guys might want to browse the classifieds over at the National Harley Owners Club.

Hey Larry, I think I'd go the chrome wheel molding like Red 02. I can't even get a decent price on the Harley grill and the surround of the grill is a paint to match. Even if you get the upper, you then have to find a lower to match which = more $. For the $20 you'd spend on the chrome moding it'd be worth trying. If you don't like it, you're only out $20. But if you like it YEAH BABY, big savings.
