what is this?

Ok, so im tryin to figure out how the guy who had the truck before me lowered it, he has the stock shackle, and i have the belltech ones out of the truck. I found this in the box of stuff he gave me, any ideas on what it can be?

here is how my truck looks.

Take a look at how the front eye of the leaf spring attaches to the frame. You'll find something that looks a lot like it.

what he said...

it's a spring perch.

one end of the spring mounts to it.

with some of the belltech kits, you have to cut the factory one off in order to install a "drop perch".

it looks like a joist hanger. and i see uve got some wood there too. ur all set to make a little deck

Looks like a rear hanger to me. The previous owner probably swapped them out for lowering hangers.

what chris said. It attaches to the spring towards the front of the vehicle. Watch the drivers side one. you have the fuel tank and lines running where the bolts go through. It's best to have a friend with small *** hands help on that side

just like what was said before, its a stock (rear ) leaf spring hanger.
