Wrong package was sent back to me at work, it's a Garret Turbo ???

And one big *** Turbo at that

It's already sitting here a week (todays my first day back from vacation) everyone here didn't know what it was or why it was sent here, so everyone assumed it was mine since I'm always sending and recieving stuff here at work.

It's not a UPS screw up, it was sent to us (here at the Plumbing Supply) from a Water heater Company, (Rheem), with a letter saying we were suppose to return def part # bla bla bla,
and this is what we sent.

Of course we DID NOT send them a Turbo, so my guess is somewhere someone sent the wrong part to Rheem, (a Hot water heater company) and they mistakenly sent it back to us.

All I see marked on it is the Name Garret, and Part # 1837984C94. The box has a label on it from a Company called "Pro Stock"

I'm thinking this is the REAL DEAL, like a Turbo for something or someone important, OR SOMETHING ???
This sucker has got to weigh 50lbs (maybe more). Maybe at lunch time I'll bring my camera back and take some pic's. Either way I'll prob take it home and mount it somewhere under the L hoodjust to confuse the schitt out of people

That's a sweet *** mix-up.

You could probably get some bucks on ebay for that, or find out what kit's use that turbo and make a fast sleeper.

Or just send it down to me and I'll 'check' it out for you

garrett makes tons of turbos for different cars, they also make our intercoolers. it could be for a tractor trailer too. get some numbers off of it and look up the size. it could be just the right size for a 5.4 liter, if you catch my drift

It's prolly for a Cummins Diesel 18 Wheeler, which would
be a GREAT size for your truck ...

Ok that settles it, my camera will go back with me to work.
I'm home right now, got to run back to work for an hour, then I'll post a pic. I did check it out again, can't find any other markings on it, maybe someone here can figure it out, but GOT DAM is this thing heavy. (OK, maybe I'm just weak)
