Played with a supercharged RT this weekend and...

One of my friends just got a 01 RT that has a vortech supercharger and a few other things done to it and we were out on 295 sat. playin around. Well, I'd have to say it was faster than I thought it was going to be but nothing to worry about. We did a few runs from 60ish and I pulled on him easliy everytime putting about 3 truck lengths on him everytime. So I gave him about a 3 length head start and by the time I was hawking him down we were going triple digits and right as I waqs about to get out of it the truck felt like it bogged out or jsut kind of stop accelerating Well as we got off the interstate my truck start kind of bucking right around 35mph and when i parked it, it felt like it was missing in idle, kind of like a rumbling type feeling every other second!? I have a friend at Ford that works on my truck but havnt got in touch with him yet. What does this sound like to you guys?? Im thinking just a blown plug, I dunno though? My mods are 4#, chip, MAF, and Denso IT22's.

Plug.

Pull the plugs and check them. I blew apart a NGK not too long ago, same scenario, same symptoms, although mine never bogged while it it but it could have blown after I let out.

Been there, had that problem....

Check them first...

Bad plugs can make your truck feel REALLY bad....

At Idle can you give it gas and it seem ok? Problem start as soon as you put the truck under a load or something?

must not have been the stongest of RT's... A local RT with a Kenne Bell and a few other mods in regular cab/bed ran 7.90's last time he took it to the track. But a kill is a kill...good job!

Check for any debris on the MAF. I had a similar problem after a hard run one night. A very tiny piece of rubber from the inside of my K&N filter had attached itself to the 1st little wire inside the sample part of the MAF. Truck ran like crap. Cleaned it off, reinstalled the MAF and problem gone. Good luck!
